Betrayal, Denial, and a New Commandment – John 13:21-30
The Gospel of John, Chapter 13 closes with both highs and lows. In this week’s message we see the betrayal of Judas, followed by Jesus’s command to love one another, before we hear that Peter will deny Christ three times. These themes are an excellent reflection of our own fickleness towards Christ and a reminder that in spite of that, Jesus loves us unconditionally.
